Why join EGTA?
Improving teaching standards
Joining EGTA puts you together with some of the leading thinkers in classical guitar education. Membership most importantly allows you to become part of the debate as methodologies and new thinking on pedagogy evolves. EGTA does not have a single view or doctrine; rather it is a melting pot for interaction of professionals on how to better go about the business of teaching.
Syllabus Development
Our members are consulted and contribute to new publications of music and offer feedback on syllabus development to organisations such as the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
EGTA Library
Membership also allows access to a library of solo and ensemble music to be harnessed in teaching
Annual Conference
The opportunity to attend our annual conference held in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
