Trevor Semple Celtic Series (1987) guitar for sale. Spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and cedar neck.
Cosmetically there are a minor superficial dings and some dullness in areas where the guitar meet the body. There are flecks of varnish lost in the lower waist due to having attached a velcro support in place of the traditional footrest. The soundboard (golpe) areas were innovatively and discretely protected by the maker at my request, using a clear thin film. I also had the neck shaped to a curved profile and position dots added at fret 5 and 7, again by the maker. The instrument comes with a hiscox hard case (sorry, no key).
This excellent instrument was played professionally by me for 10 years and has spent a further decade in my loft. I'm retired and have finally convinced my wife to let me part with it. It is every inch a concert guitar, elegantly built to the highest standards and muscular sounding. Trevor is currently advertising the 30 year anniversary edition of this particular model at 5950 euros.
