AS A GUITARIST-COMPOSER, I have always been puzzled by a well-known statement of Hector Berlioz, a fine musician who, despite being totally unqualified to perform on any instrument, felt for a while entitled to give guitar lessons. He maintained that a unison produced by ten guitars sounds ludicrous
